As someone who has ben on antipsychotics 4 years and olanzapine about 9 months. Don't get another drug to counteract the weight gain go to the gym. Eat healthy and sleep well.

Is this a joke? Weight gain is the side effect to be concerned about and just add another drug to combat that???

Cognitive Impairment is the side effect to worry about.

No, but it can cause permanent side effects like tardive dyskinesia. Which, aren't at all rare with these.
