You should know that there is a difference between regular Tide Original and Tide Simply!

Tide Simply is a value version of Tide that includes less cleaning ingredients to help lower the cost while still providing a very solid clean.

Across three water temperatures, Tide Simply removed 58% of stains (B Tier ranking) and costs about 11 cents per load whereas Tide Original removed 66% of stains (A Tier ranking) and costs about 22 cents per load. Basically you get 8% more stain removal for double the cost.

I would be very interested in a video describing the effects of all the different kinds of Tide. There are so many!

So basically 8% more cleaning power costs 100% more in price.

I would love to see a comparison of all the unscented detergents.

Yup.. which is why I use more Tide yellow than I would Tide Orange to get almost the same results!

Looking at cost per load is really smart. I buy the big jug with the little faucet on it and it’s also around 21¢

I use to work as a food server and would have to wear all black. One bottle of tide simply would fade my black clothes! Original tide or cheer I never have that problem

The difference is the yellow bottle is very low strength and the orange bottle is their heavy duty regular liquid

What about the Clean and Clear Tide vs Original? Does that remove stains equally? Have you tested between them? I'm sensitive to fragrances and would love your opinion, sir 😈🥺

I’m not from the US. Does Tide have some sort of monopoly on detergent there that people should learn the difference between these two different kinds? I mean this video seems weirdly specific, if there’s a plethora of other brands and varieties of detergent

Omg thank you. I thought the yellow one was a Tide knock off. It definitely doesn’t clean the clothes I have 😮

Is Tide Simply better on synthetic fabrics or cotton? We wash mostly synthetic fabrics, cotton blend fabrics, and the towels are 100% cotton. Arm & Hammer Sensitive would not remove stains at all especially grease stains.

Can you please do this for the Persil brand?

You should not use Yellow tide in an High Efficiency or HE machine. Orange tide you can. Look at the labels.

So if I have not many stains I am best with the cheaper tide? Sometimes Publix has it on sale and then they will have a digital coupon so you can get the better one for the same price or less.

I got tricked or finessed on offer up and thought I was getting a Heluva deal. 5 bottles of yellow tide for $18 . I immediately jumped on it and started bragging to friends how smart and resourceful I am 😂. Boy was I wrong, not only can u get the bottles for $3.50, it didn’t not clean well and u have to pour half a bottle because of how weak it is. It dulls your clothes and doesn’t have a fresh scent like the real tide.Fool me once …

Would it make a difference if you added OxiClean to the Tide yellow?

Meanwhile Arm & Hammer works better than both of them while being cheaper than Tide Simply.
