Good, you added the control as it gives a reference. I'm not surprised by the result of the 'Oxi' not cleaning better because no liquid can contain oxygen bleach in the proper Oxi clean sense. Only powders. What the liquid contains when they use the Oxi term is just optical brighteners. If you want stain removal with sodium percarb then stick to powders.

I bought this to try it, but I'm usually just a Persil person, so I think I will stick with Persil from now on. In the consumer reports test it's regular tied and persil that tie for first place every year.

I would only use tide simply for the smell it’s not as effective as the regular tide and I am guessing why is cheaper than the regular tide. I put that in the same category as gain. I remember they had a green tide simply one I am not sure if that one is the same

I buy the big jug one day last month it was good but for stains use the orange bottle of tide they have more powerful ingredients than the yellow bottles does

I think other than smells most all work decent … the key is amount a watered down detergent requires compared to a high end tide/gain is thicker so takes less

When removing stains don’t you scrub gently prior. I mean when I get a stain I wet it with cold water then add detergent and scrub agitate area on a scrub board or with hands.

Tide simply refreshing breeze smells better than the original red bottle Tide but has less cleaning power. I use it together with a scoop of Oxiclean. I always soak my laundry. You should too if you have the time. My washing machine also has an extended soak function. Tide simply may not be the best detergent, but they score 10/10 in the scent category.
