I think if you mount up the tv in the sitting room it’ll fill in the space a little bit better and you won’t have to cram it with things that’ll just end up making it cluttered. Also I know you didn’t ask but I think two full couches in the sitting room make the space look smaller. I think changing the couch that leads into the dining room for two chairs would open up the space more and make the transition from the sitting room into the dining room more seamless. As for the nightstand, I think the best way to remove the paint from the cracks would be to take it apart, but I wouldn’t do that for such a small piece, so I would paint them.

I feel like it would look amazing if you mounted the tv on the wall! either that tv or treat YOSELF to a bigger one to fill the space more!

Hang the TV on the wall. The space/ cabinet will look less cluttered. Try paint stripper on stubborn paint. I like them in the wood finish, don't paint them. But I did prefer the other handle.

You cold use liquid paint stripper and dab some on the parts you can't reach. Should scrape off easily then! Great video but you definitely need some plants to bring your rooms to life!

I like the natural wood finish on the tables! It looks good! Also what if you mounted your TV? That would take up a little bit more space on the wall making it feel less lonely. But also purposeful.

Get a Dremel with a skinny sanding bit and you should be able to sand out in between the cracks of your side tables. I say don’t repaint! The natural wood looks lovely. 😌

JUST A SUGGESTION ABOUT THE TABLES:
If you don't want to paint ...
Find a brown marker and color with it it where the white shows.. easy fix :)
Love your work and your home looks beautiful !!

I think it would be great to mount the tv (basically at the same height it already is) and then do a floating shelf above that you can lean artwork and decor on.i think it’ll clear up space and spread out your treasures! Looks great, Hermione!

That colour made such an amazing difference! Really good choice, it adds a really nice balance to the room. Does it have a name? I would love to know. As for the other wall, I would suggest getting your tv up a bit higher, and add plants, definitely, a nice statement plant in that corner!

You need a pop of colour on the other side of the room. A green plant would bring some life into it. And you can mount the TV on the wall, so that it becomes the focal point on that side.
You have great taste 😉 I'm sure you'll find a good solution.
As for the side tables, may look good in gray as the stripes on your bed board

Please paint the big antique mirror at 6:06 in the same colour as the opposite accent wall ! 👍😊
That would move the room together (and the current mirror frame colour is not nice in my opinion :/

I can't be the only one who thinks the paint looks more green than blue 😅 It looks pretty regardless and maybe it's the camera but it looks more green to me lol

I love the new paint color in your sitting room it brightens up the space and makes it more homey and cozy. I also love the natural wood of your bedside tables adds more warmth to your bedroom. For the paint you couldn't remove from the corners, you can paint them in a gold color to mimic metal plates or buy gold color metal corner brackets to hide the paint and protect the corners of the tables. I also like the gold handles that you had on them before better than the ones you put on now. Your TV mount it on the wall and you will have less clutter on the cabinet and it will visually look better. Hope these tips help, you're doing an amazing job in your home and I always look forward in seeing your next videos! 😃💚

That color is perfect! Hanging plants (ceiling hooks) or white floating shelves would look great in that space over the tv without cluttering.

Love the paint color in the sitting room! It really warms the room up and makes your fireplace stand out as the focal point. I would mount the TV on the wall, and maybe do some cool DIY covers to hide the electronics on the table. If the wall still feels empty, you could do a floating shelf above the TV to display some decor.

Paint the bed side tables in the blue/green from the lounge. Such a lush colour and very versatile. Fabulous work in this update Hermione 🙌 Such an inspiration to soldier on with my reno.

As soon as you showed those side tables, I thought they would look great painted with black chalkboard paint! I don't know if that would work with the room, but black chalkboard is sooo fun, it's a little farmhouse-y, but I feel like it works in any style of space! Just make sure that if you want to use chalk to draw or write on it, your cure it first! (give it a good coat of chalk all over, erase it and then clean it, so that the things you write on it don't stay apparent when you try and erase it!)

This shade is an excellent neutral. It makes the fireplace and mirror pop-up. 👍Again, you are soooo patient!
