Dance performance

Jivestudio was created in 2006 by two dancers who wanted to share their passion of Rockabilly Jive, which was back then a mostly unknown dance style.
Through hard work, more good decisions than bad ones, but mostly by empowering other dancers to teach and take the dance to another level, the school grew to be one of the biggest dance school in Montreal.
With more than 300 dancers walking through their door every week, attending their classes as well as their dance nights, they were able to grow as a business, but moslty a community of dancers.
The crowd is so friendly and welcoming that peoples who attend a jive night are thrilled by the positive energy that come from it. The best jive ambassadors are the people dancing it, and who talk about it with passion. The same passion that started everything 8 years ago, a passion for happiness.
