Welcome back to Pursuit Of Meaning, today on this channel we are going to talk about “ 10 Books Jordan Peterson Thinks Everyone Should Read + 3 Best Jordan Peterson Books (2022)” Though he is now a professor emeritus at the University of Toronto, from 1993 to 1998 he served as assistant and then associate professor of psychology at Harvard. He spent fifteen years writing Maps of Meaning: The Architecture of Belief (published in 1999), the book is a scholarly investigation into the nature of narrative and religious thought, the structure of perception, the regulation of emotion, and the motivation for atrocity in the service of ideology.

His year abroad exploring the Old World proved to be life-changing. There he came into contact with the works of Jung and Nietzsche, sparking his life-long interest in the field of psychology. When he returned home, he got his B.A. in psychology and then a Ph.D. in the same field of study. For six years, from 1993 to 1998, he also taught and did research at Harvard University, though he finally decided to move back to his native Canada and became a full-time professor at the University of Toronto. He has also kept up the clinical practice, giving psychological support to a small number of patients.

There is no doubt the Bible should be number one. There’s a reason it was the first real book published, printed and most distributed book ever in the history of the world. No other scripture has ever had the influence it has had and if you look at all the problems of the world now and how little this book is now read you will see a direct correlation which is not coincidental.

In fact, you only need read one book indeed. ¿Do you want to know which book is it Mr. Jordan Peterson?
I have six year of study of that book; and even now, i can't pass of the 35 document of the 198 documents.
The prolog is, a great chalenge to understand. Just whit that, you must conjecture the difficult of the all book. I have the same cuantity of year study the prolog. I have a "degree", for saying to some way (with six year of study of the Prolog).
An this book, is, at least for me, the reality, in part, of the God and the univers.
And, I have some answers that can reveal that proof.

Honestly, I read mein kamph in high school; back in the early 80s.
But NOT for the reasons most people jump to!
For me, it was both "know the enemy" and an _attempt_ to understand the mind of a psychopath.
It's NOT a good read! Just the ramblings and rants of a crazy man. 🙄
