Today we will demonstrate how to insert RFID card IDs into word & excel With Read-a-Card.
Read-a-Card software utility easily automates the transfer of data from contactless RFID cards, proximity tokens and tags into a whole range of applications, without the need to develop specialized interfaces to your existing software and systems.
With a card reader connected to a PC, Read-a-Card automatically identifies the type of card presented to the reader, extracts the desired data and sends it as simulated key-strokes to the chosen target application (in a customizable format). This ‘universal keyboard wedge’ functionality makes it easy to use existing access control cards for many additional applications, such as: user registration, manufacturing process control, cashless vending, asset tracking, loyalty card schemes, bar-code scanner replacement and follow-me printing.
