Finding Common Ground focuses on the complex history of African Americans and Native Americans and how their intertwined stories have become an essential part of American identity. In this segment, the museum's Elizabeth Gische welcomes the audience and introduces the symposium moderator, Michel Martin, Ms. Martin, of NPR's All Things Considered, gives some introductory remarks.
