I remember my wife crying after losing 11 patients in 1 day and the tories were on the news telling people everything was fine and nurses had ppe. My wife is a district nurse and their ppe was taken away for the covid wards leaving her and her colleagues with bin liners and paper masks.

Robbing the people is a common treat of all parties. In general politicians are self-serving, this is obvious given that they insulate themselves from the worst effects of their policies.their gold plated guaranteed pensions are not subject to the vagaries of the stock markets and are protected against inflation.
In general the conservatives take money from the middle classes and give it to billionaires. Labour takes money from the middle classes and gives it to the feckless poor, but they both protect the wealth of the super rich, which is why the wealth gap continues to grow between the ultra rich few and the rest of society.
Unfortunately this conservative government has used its privatisation ideology to move tax payers money into the pockets of parasitic shareholders and their cronies.
Labour will have to act very differently than it did in the past if it is to avoid falling into the corruption trap.
