Mine was down for over two weeks until they figured out it was the steering angle sensor. Can Am really needs to fix these issues. It's way to common of a problem on all rykers since day one. I switched over to a ryker from a spyder and started already regretting it. I had zero issues with my 2013 RS.

Thanks for this video .. my Ryker recently had this problem and the guys at the service center only changed the battery saying it was what caused it but they didn't test anything else .. as it happened when i got the Ryker home it still had the fault and wouldn't start ... but thanks to this vid and a few others i tried switching out fuses to start with, .. and it started when i replaced the fuse for the electronic hub connections.. now why the service center couldn't do this i don't know .. but i rang them and told them how to fix the problem .. lol I have also bought a few sets of fuses just in case i need them :D oh yeah my Ryker is only 6 months old .. rly can-am u cant fix this problem even tho u have known about it for years ....

Ha! When LeManz has a problem it’s your bike! Until then in my mind it’s my bike lol awesome video dude! Hey just had crazy thought. What if that yaw sensor was mounted on a Gimbal? Sort of like a camera mounted on a drone! I like those batteries that reset is pretty cool! Have you seen the batteries that you have to shake it to wake it? Lemans is looking good😂😊😊😊😊

A I was just researching these batteries last week. the problem with lithium batteries as you know use them in my electric trike they do not put out the amps of a led acid two choices two choose amp or capacity led acid offers both but weight sucks . recent purchase of my new spyder led me to put a amp and large subwoofer. in order to over come the drain on the system when the base rattles the cars next to me added the same battery in the rear of the bike in the saddle bag were the amp is stashed and the extremally large capacitor. this also helps me with the on board CCTV cameras for the constant memory draw on the batteries . OH as well a small fan was installed for cooling. but when i do replace my led acid anchors those are the batteries to run in parallel to make up for amp hours.

I just got my Ryker’s back from dealer that I had VSS Fault issues 2 times, unfortunately dealer told me that they were not able to fix it, I had the same situation with your second ones, what should I do

I've had the steering codes twice on my new 22 spec rally. My experience is that the limp mode expires after a while. 1st time was about 20 miles and scond time about 40 miles. Uk dealer not got back to me yet. Only done 800 miles in total.

We have a fix in Quebec, mine is getting an new local pieces to solve this issue ( my local garage as design a new part) . We do not have this issue anymore . It happens on left turn a Hight speed this is when this code happen ... mine is a 2021 and I am doing this update Alain & Yellow

I wonder how adept our Canadian dealers are at sorting out VSS codes. They may need to watch your videos and learn something

Martin, please research this. My battery powered tools use lithium batteries. You can not charge a lithium battery below 32 degrees Fahrenheit because it will damage the battery. So putting one in a bike means you must not use a battery tender if stored in cold temps. I would never use one in cold climate locations.

Getting a vss code C1290. What does that mean and what would cause it?

Another very common vss fault comes from touching the brake with giving it throttle. You have to be sure your foot is not resting on or against the side of the brake pedal.

Hi again Martin ... i keep having issues with my ryker .. the ECM fuse keeps blowing .. every 20-30km .. every other thing seems to be ok ... its just the fuse that controls the power to the electronic control module ... when it happens the bike just powers down and says check vss key .. its happened so often now that i actually went to a store and bought spare fuses to keep with me so i can fix the problem on the spot .. any idea what could be causing this fault? BRP doesnt seem to read their emails .. lol

Mine went into VSS twice it’s at the stealership i recharged my battery I was a little low, I will change my battery when I get it back
