The sportier brother to the GSX 8S that I did a First Ride on later last year. With a full set of fairings, upgraded suspenion and a different body position will this bike have a chance and being better with the already incredible Suzuki GSX 8S? It's got the same engine and chassis so let's find out...with a ride!

I think this is one of the best looking bikes to come out. Everyone wants to go balls to the wall all the time but if you’re not going to the track, these bikes are perfect for commuting and day trips to the twisties. Some people need to understand the usability of their bikes and their skills. As far as commuter bikes this thing looks sick and would be perfect. The other bikes that you have to ring out through the rpm’s aren’t fun because it’s rare that you actually get to ride at the limits of those bikes and if you do you’re risking losing your license and your ability to ride. I love to push it but I love to enjoy the ride more. I’m really stoked with bikes becoming more street oriented than these track missles that you barely get to leave second gear without committing felonies and risking losing it all.

Suzuki always waits to play their cards, and it always pays off. The entire new line up is stellar and im hoping they slap this tech on the other GSXRs. A new 750/1000 with that dash and QS would dominate the market.

OC. <3 I just bought a 2024 GSX-8R this past week. I'm a disabled veteran that stopped riding supersports and went to baggers because of my back. I got rid of my bagger 3 years ago and haven't ridden since. Man, I love this bike. The body position mixed with the stability/power is absolutely incredible. I'm having so much fun with this bike. Thanks for the in depth review. You were spot on.

Suzuki did it. The knocked it our the park with this bike. It’s sexy and practical. It’s looks like a street scalpel. Narrow and streamlined.

Owned an R7, This bike beats it out 100%. Shocked Suzuki actually made something competitive for once

I understand why they're going away but man do I miss seeing middleweight inline 4s instead of parallel twins in 7-800 class bikes

Tst industries is actually making tail deletes that put the brake up in the top and also have other mount styles too.

For comfort I love my F-3S Spyder! The 1330 Rotax is plenty of power. After I had a stroke I thought my biking days were over. My balance is gone, but the 3 wheeler is awesome. I have been a biker my whole life and thought my ridding days were over! NOPE I’m back in the wind!!!

That GSX-8R looks amazing. Now all it really needs is a tail tidy and a great sounding exhaust! Nothing else to add to this beauty.

6:34 the yellow black reminds me of the gsx-r bikes that had yellow and with chrome wheels, looks really sporty but that gsxs style rider triangle looks good and comfy. Reminds me of the gsxs-1000s

OC: man I was thinking 8S to level up into from my 390 Duke at the end of this riding season but I might cough up the extra pennies for the 8R. That yellow is insanely good looking and the overall package is just so complete looking. The kind of machine that you can go crazy with in the canyons and even do some longer distance riding but also ride to work/school calmly. Banger first ride as always ❤️

I have always had naked bikes and really appreciate Japanese machines but never had a Suzuki (on the road). Test road a GSX-8r this morning due to the amazing reviews and the looks. Ordered one as soon as I got back. It’s just so nice and I feel like it will do everything that I want. Clever Suzuki. 👍

OC the 8r is the way to go vs 8s. That yellow is just so nice. It's a very nice bike and should be enjoyable for years to come. Great next bike I think

I know they've been doing them for years now but, I guess I'm still not used to the size changes they done on motorcycles. It used to be for decades everything was in 1/8 or 1/4 liter I.E. 50, 80, 125, 250, 350, 400, 450, 500, 600, 650, 750, 1000. I guess now they filled in all the gaps with 300, 390, 636, 700, 800, 900, etc. I'm sure I missed several sizes as I don't follow motorcycles as much as I did years ago. I still ride but, only have the old school RD400 and new XR150L. The XR is actually fund to ride in my 60's. My last sport bike was an '05 Buell XB12 SCG which handled really great in my opinion considering it didn't have top shelf suspension parts. Had so much torque I could do a dead stopped 5th gear burnout at 3500 RPM.
