Why You Are In A Rut

Being in a rut sucks. It feels as if you have no will left in your body. What you once felt pleasurable is now just ok. Perhaps what used to fire you up and get you motivated is not just something that is lost. It is not good for anyone to experience these things. However, it is good to see what to do when experiencing these things.
The problem could be that you are working too much. Perhaps you have demanded too much of yourself. You Have demanded far too much, and what you are getting is far too little. This imbalance of reward to work will definitely make you rethink life. It might make you feel as if you are a failure. It might make you feel as if everything you have been working on is not doing anything really. It might feel as if you are holding something in the air for a very long time in order to get some success and recognition. Even worse, you feel as if you cannot bring it down. This object that you are holding onto above your head has been there for quite a while, and you cannot let go of it NOW. You think that there is a certain duty to keep going, but all of this is making you weak in the future.
This is the key to a rut. Pause. Do not push yourself over the edge that you have to take so much time off. Do not push yourself too much that you are not growing your goals, but decaying them. However, if you pause, there is hope that you will get replenished strengths. There is hope that you will come back stronger. There is hope that you will think about doing it differently and perhaps improving it that way.
