Well done Dave. Congrats! So handy they kept the 14 hcp all four rounds! i've also come down from 15 to 10 in the last 7 weeks and its not from making birds. it's exactly like you mention about staying around par and bogs. However, to break single figures i believe the birds have to come. That's the next level. I seem to make clutch putts for par but for birdie i lag it 🤣

It's the doubles that kills you. You can't make enough birdies to cancel them out.
In 2013 I came 2nd in the club chump gross and I had 3 doubles over 2 rounds. I lost by 3. I hit 2 balls out of bounds. If I had managed to hit those first tee shots as well as my 3 off the tee shots I would have been Club Chump.
But then if the dog hadn't stopped to shit it would have caught the rabbit.
You did well, onwards and upwards.
