You should see a real 25m Nimbus 3 do that at 130knts... The energy is amazing..

"Cleaving the air apart" is redundant. Impressive glider!

I've never heard this sound before. 👏🏻🧐

Thought it was a fake video .. until I went full screen and could see the propeller on the nose. Was wandering how such little energy at start of video could achieve so much height. Cheating. LOL.

Nice model of this good old DG! I wonder why he’s using gyro stabilization on the ailerons, that shouldn’t be needed and doesn’t make the flight characteristics look very authentic.

Is it just me.. or does a propeller pop out the front near the beginning and at the end?

Is it towed up to hight with another rc aircraft? I would love to see that.

But then in the close-up shot the cockpit is empty.
It needs an action figure waving at spectators.

they whistle when they're not clean, that's dragged 🤔😱😱

Ends with glider heading off into the trees 🤔

if you want to fly higher than 400 ft put in for a waiver, and most likely you'll get it ✈️✈️✈️🤔🙋

Probably best if that thing has luminous paint..

I’m opposed to dangerously over-sized RC planes. But I’m curious.

Have they ever tried putting a rear-facing shotgun shell in the back of an RC plane? It would fire a burst of lead-powder as a form of thrust.
