I'm staying in a cozy Airbnb in a small Turkish village. As I've been traveling the past few months, for the first time in ages, I had the chance to cook in a kitchen! Using fresh, halal ingredients straight from the local farm—including a lemon I picked myself 🥚🍅

Turkish breakfast is like a little bit of everything—briny olives, creamy cheeses, fresh veggies, eggs, honey, and warm bread. It’s the perfect way to wow your friends and family with a spread that looks amazing but is surprisingly easy to put together! 🧡

In this video, I share the joy of making this abundant and wholesome meal, reflect on the beauty of creation, and ponder how a simple tomato requires the cooperation of the entire universe to exist. It's a humbling reminder of how blessed we are—thank you, God, for these gifts.

Used to travel to Turkiye a lot. It's the most wholesome breakfast, loads of carbs and protein. As a musafir during my younger days, I could eat late breakfast, skip lunch and have an early dinner. Missed Turkiye.

I'm a British Turk I just came back from Istanbul Turkey. The food is one thing I miss a lot. Although we do have some Turkish shops all over London. I stayed at my sisters she's an amazing cook. There are so many different varieties of borek that thing you put in the oven, my fav is borek with the salty white cheese and spinach. It's called Sigara borek.
