I have a survival tip for yo'al! I can't take credit. My mother was not only a trained healer but also a trained surgical nurse. When these products came out. Mother added them to all her med kits and purse. Tampons and sanitary pads. Tampons are great for bullet holes. They are also great fire starters. They are cotton, and you only need a little. The pads are great for wounds. The outside and bottom of the pad have plastic, so don't burn it, but the inside is cotton. Both are very clean. It's not sterile but very clean. Try not to touch ither product directly when using for a wound. In an emergency. You need all the help you can get. Don't forget ither. Most women of child-bearing age well carry ither a panty-liner, pad, or tampon. Don't be afraid to ask. It could save a life.
