His skeleton was found a short time after this video was made. He’d died of dehydration. He couldn’t do the math.

Special thanks to the undisciplined people of the world, all the thrown water bottles, because of that i survived.

20 - 30 ml/day x 50 bottles = 1000 - 1500 ml every day. THERE! I DID THE METH!

Thank you for the video. It’s good to get an understanding of how to desalinate sea water. I think it’s a subject you’d have to watch a lot of videos on. And have to do your own research and experimenting.

Get about 50 of them and start a water company at stranded island 😂

I’ve just built one bottle. I’ll see if that’s enough water for me. I take water for granted in the shower.

Boy, how lucky was it that you got stranded on an island with native plastic bottle trees. I mean, what are the odds?

You should be able to do this on a large scale using water from the ocean by using the same principle.

"you do the math"
ok

Given pessimistic number of 10 ml per bottle (20 ml for 2 bottles divided by 2)
Given estimate of 4 liters of water daily for survival in desert conditions
4000 / 10 = 400

you will require 400 bottles to survive.

Oh my God, this is GENIUS! What are the odds you're going to have enough bottles to matter?

This is just a good quick method to get a gulp of fresh water overnight without having to cook it or use bleach if you don’t have any.

If you could set up 10 or even 20 of these it could help you survive.

I once swam in a saltwater pool.
It was painful. When I opened my eyes it burned and when I gulped the water I almost choked. So salt water doesn’t work.

There's a lot of costal places that water is scarce right now. Places where they've been left to fend for themselves. Places you CAN find bottles and/or containers everywhere.

The mAth is simple. Two clear containers of different sizes. One fits inverted over the other that has a narrower opening (might have to be a bottle). Added feature. Place over tray or shallow bucket to catch evaporated water at end of day.

Hehe this is a last resort I had in mind for survival, I thought it would take them long to release a public video about how to. 😂

I might need this info if I ever find myself in this situation

the real question is how the hell would you get 100 bottles in a deserted island to make 50 of those as he said

can you show that method with tools and items from the nature instead of a plastic bottle. maybe a way to craft your own bottle or tube using a bamboo or something. makes it more legit trying to survive in the wild
