Every time I come here I learn something new. Tomorrow I am gonna try the *one bare bulb lighting* from behind the photographer. Thanks Karl for the great tips. Love from India.

I keep wanting to subscribe to watch more in-depth videos like these and learn more, but I'm always so busy, I hope I can take your course soon as it's one of the most informative channels on YouTube I've ever seen.

Follow up video suggestion to this video, maybe a 1-2 lighting set up in a non-studio space like at home, office space, etc would be a nice continuation to this video.

I promised myself I would NEVER watch another one light portrait set up video on YouTube! I’m glad I broke that rule for this one! Great stuff! And as someone who often shoots headshots/portraits at events in very small spaces, this has given me some fresh ideas! Thank you 🙏🏼

The juxtaposition of his emphasis of “just one light” while having multiple assistants custom shape the walls and ceiling and flags was quite entertaining. I appreciate the intent of just playing with light and bounce/flags to shape the light but it was still pretty funny with the level of complexity.
