Thank you for your chest compressions advice, I was able to save my best friend's father's life.

For the person who asked about why the cat isn’t using the litter box. It might be because cats are pretty hygienic and typically need 2 litter boxes. Of course not all cats care but if your cat refuses to use it adding a second box and making sure that the boxes are clean could help.

My grandfather was a Dr (he would be 101 this year if he was still around) and he gave me the best life advice "You should ensure you spend money on two things in life....your shoes and your spend almost all of you life either sleeping or on your feet so make sure you can do both comfortably!"

Just a small posture tip for those looking at posture correction. I'm a lifelong gamer and I have struggled with posture my whole life. I found for a long time that forcing myself to have correct posture was almost painful in how uncomfortable it was. I started rock climbing and part of my training became working on strengthening my back and shoulders. Particularly doing inclined pull-ups (since I wasn't strong enough when I started to do a pull-up) and hanging scapula pull-ups changed my posture in like two weeks-1 month. For my posture the fix was simply strengthening my back and shoulders slightly. After like a week or two I already didn't have and discomfort forcing myself to have correct posture. Now when I'm gaming I make sure I remind myself every now and then to sit up better, and my posture has drastically improved. Do a bit of strength training a couple times a week, even just 20 minutes twice a week will help!

Veterinary Nurse here: If your cat doesn't use the litter box, try one of the following:
- Always have 1 litter box more than you have cats
- The area where they eat/drink must be as far away as possible from the litter box or they might not use it
- Have the litter box in a quiet place

If all of the above are fine or your cat only recently started not using it, take them to a vet. If your cat is having a discomfort in any way, the first thing they do is stop using the litter box. :)

I just recently got some shape wear due to some insecurities and comments I was getting, and I didn't look much into it, but watching this was like a message sent by the universe. I feel uncomfortable wearing it, and now I know it can affect my health in many ways. So, I think I'll just continue with my therapy, work on myself, and throw that shape wear away. Thanks for the advice.

PLEASE do the clothes video and expand more on hygiene needs. Also, talk about the differences in clothing needs/hygiene needs for different body types (male vs female, do different ethnicities need specifics, overweight people vs normal weight vs underweight, etc). There's a lot there!

As a nurse, I honestly would say the best thing I ever give by a patient was a heartfelt thank you note. I still have all the ones I've been given❤ its nice to go back when your having a rough patch and be reminded that you did make a difference and someone saw it and cared enough to thank you.

The clothes - physical/mental health question is really interesting. I remember reading a study that people who were allowed to wear their own clothes while in hospital instead of hospital gowns (when a hospital gown wasn't important medically, of course) were discharged sooner, reported less stress during their stay, and were less likely to return to hospital soon after being discharged.

As someone who has struggled with clothing all my life, I’d LOVE to see a more in depth video. Especially as someone who wore very large, uncomfortable bras and compression binders. I feel like the discussion around these things is still really lacking in the medical community!

Dr. Mike looking directly into the camera and saying, "Do you want me to have a one-on-one talk with your kitty?" is possibly the single most ... "hydrating" sentence I think I've heard from him.

I used to keep my wallet in my back pocket, and I was experiencing odd back pain that I couldn’t figure out the cause of to save my life. I went to the doctor for a regular appointment and told them about my back. When they saw I kept my wallet in my back pocket, they told me that was more than likely my problem because I was constantly sitting on an uneven surface, which was shifting the way pressure was on my back. I started carrying my wallet in my front pocket, and within a week, my back pain was completely gone. Crazy how something that small made such a huge difference.

With the "falling asleep listening to something" question, for the last few years I've been listening to a podcast with a 30 minute sleep timer as I'm falling asleep. It's not as bad as like a movie or a TV show because the sound of people talking is usually in the same volume range for long periods of time, and listening to something I'm interested in actually keeps my mind from racing. I do need to keep the volume only slightly loud enough to hear because then I can drown out the noise as I'm falling asleep. Audiobooks work great for me too.

My sister and her boyfriend had an extended stay at the hospital when my baby niece had Leukemia. They stayed for 9 months and she sadly didn't make it, but we brought my niece's nurses some snack boxes as an appreciation for all they did. They became part of my niece's family so it was the least we could do.

I wore shapewear for too long at a wedding last summer (it was a long wedding that started in the afternoon with an after-party that went until after 5AM), and the next day my feet, ankles, and calves were super swollen. I went to the ER because obviously that was terrifying, and I had no idea why it was happening. They explained it was likely edema from my shapewear that was worsened by the extreme heat that day mixed with drinking alcohol. I haven't worn any since because I'm terrified now. It took four days of elevating my feet to get that to go down to normal.

For those that want to know about the cat issue, we had that problem with one of our cats at one time. We ended up taking her to the vet and they said she was probably associating the litter box with pain because she had a UTI.

For the nipple chafing, clothing made with material that minimizes friction and “wicks” sweat away will help, so women don’t usually have an issue because they’re already wearing sports bras, or bras in general so the nipples aren’t rubbing against the clothing much. So avoid wearing loose shirts that rub during running or other activity, like cotton tees that get damp and heavy with sweat.

I have a friend who is in the process of becoming a trauma surgeon. She posts pics of patients’ wounds on her personal Instagram and it drives me up the wall. First, I don’t want to see that and second, there’s obviously no consent for that. She’s said that there’s no way of linking the patient with to the pictures as there’s no faces but I don’t buy it. I think if I were to have surgery I’d add a clause to the contract that I don’t consent to the taking, sharing or use of photographs or video for any purpose other than directly related to the treatment.

My mom worked as a bedside nurse a couple years ago (she's in Care Management now) and one of her patients got her an *extremely* expensive watch. She doesn't like stuff on her wrists so she doesn't wear it, but it was very kind of him and it's something she cherishes.
