Which OS is smoother Apple or Samsung?

I think animations have gotten a lot better on One UI but the way iOS has that scaling of apps with the transition in that animation is just really nice to see.

The crazy thing is that Galaxy can go beyond and reduce or even disable animations completely to transition faster.

Iphone has no delay before animation processes, galaxy has a tinybit smoother fps in animations.. so both are ammazing

The one ui 6 animation was not consistent with the hand gesture, i observed carefully and the moment the finger swipes up nothing happens for a moment and 1 second later the animation works so basically one ui animation has a slight delay

Thought the Galaxy will suck as usually, i admit it that we Samsung users have always been unsatisfied about One ui Animation smoothness, but not anymore !
Beta 1 and still doing amazing even when comparing to iOS 17 beta 6 !

Apple's animations may look a bit nicer, but they are slower. I do like the faster animations of One UI

Samsung allows you to to change the speed in developer options, can be even quicker.

The fact that you have to use an ultra slow camera to see the difference shows they both good in every way

Samsung made incredible efforts to ditch that awful software from the past. From 2022 I feel the Samsung software caught up with Apple. Yes the mid rangers will still be slow af, but a flagship will do great from them

You can lower the animation speed in developer settings on android

I'd say both are to the point were the naked eye wouldn't really be able to spot the difference side by side unless its slowed. But even then I'd say its hard to notice the difference.

I recommend using a darker background (currently, the wooden table) next time so that phone screen will look brighter.

I like how iOS has more smooth scaling up and down animations
And I love how OneUI has smooth and gradually expanding notification bar

Both are better in some categories and a little behind in others.

Why don't just change the animation scale if you want it to be more snappy, am I missing something? It has been available for like a decade

both are smooth at least for me, but why iphone display look worst here or maybe because the truetone is on.
