As a samsung long time user I still give it to Apple, even my old 12 Pro has smoother animations than my s24U, but one Ui has definitely improved lately, hopefully soon it might even surpass

Man, that widget opening and exiting animations on the Pixel at 4:04 look so cheap, they look half baked next to the iPhone. In the first tap/swipe the weather app animation opened and exited correctly but in the subsequent taps/swipes, the opening and exiting animations of the window cards just glitched out and behaved as if they were opened normally, not by tapping the widget on the home screen. Google really need to fix their inconsistent animations throughout the whole system.

Though I feel some of the animations in iOS can be too much especially when I'm in a rush and want to get something done quickly, nobody does the animations as nice as Apple. I appreciate that the animations in iOS has multiple layers, and each has this bouncy, rubber band like effect.

You can't compare opening and closing animations with basic apps like phone etc, you need to test really heavy apps like Instagram, tik tok, camera then you'll see how laggy one UI is

as a s24u user i would say iphone got the best animations but still holding on samsung for oneui 7, hope it sets the bar high
