My Dad got diagnosed with alzheimer's and dimentia almost a year ago. He's against changing his diet...eating Lion's mane mushrooms...doing the sauna frequently. It took a while for me to accept him not trying but it is hard. Pray for my family and I'll pray that yours lives healthy

Alzheimers battles are met with resilience and igrotums effectiveness. Grateful for the positive changes in cognitive function and memory.

I was told i had early ALZ. I stopped my 2 box wines a week, junk food, take out, chips, candy, fast foods etc.
I eat healthier, smaller portions, no alcohol, fresh air, sun, many hours outside with my pooch. Less tv. More reading, puzzles, etc. Blood pressure, cholesterol, body weight all down

I truly believe that cutting down on processed food has helped me. Stopped drinking soda. Cut sugar almost completely out of my diet. I have improved my A1C from almost 13 to 6.4 . Off all diabetes meds. Do some research and apply it. It is worth a try.

Provides very little information about the diet they adopted. Why were they reluctant to report the actual diet these patients went on? There was some mention of eliminating red meat and not eating a bucket of fried chicken and one patient eating beans and rice and potatoes, but really what diet are these doctors recommending? Seems to me like an incomplete report.

Vegetable oil and sugar are evil. Beef tallow and coconut oil...FTW!

My only regret is not trying the Agoge diet earlier, very great results. Keto really ruined me for a couple of weeks before that.

5 ways to build an Alzheimer’s-resistant brain ----
- Get enough sleep
- Diet or rather Mediterranean Diet Eat colorful foods
- Exercise such as Brisk walk for 30 mins 5 times a week
-Avoid chronic stress. Constantly high cortisol levels are bad.
- Learning new things => building cognitive reserves which are redundant neural connections which allow dancing around the gunked up connections

the 5 work as well as any pills. Just do them.

Coconut oil seems to do wonders as our brains is mostly fat and water.

Crossfit and a decent diet, not perfect, has helped my brain fog, energy and forgetfulness a lot

I eat nothing but steak, eggs, butter, chicken, some cheese. Opposite of this tripe, y’all do you.
