So look music production gets a little CPU heavy sometimes, Im rocking on with a 2013 intel i5 which at the time was fine, BUT newer plugins, high quality settings, higher bit rates, 64bit summing mixing engines (yes check the logic update) are killing my session more and more often.

upgrade you cry! Well i cant just yet ive way to many projects in mid flow and need some down time to upgrade the man machine, plus Apple hold off on imac update sooooo yeah.

What we can do though is freeze tracks in logic! This saves a bunch of CPU and is a tactic I was all to familiar with back in the day of machine that had yet to even see a multicore set up. Lets do this!
