Ricardo is based on a real boxer El Finito Lopez Undefeated champion greatest in he’s weight and he was considered best pound for pound in his time

The strongest are Nekota and Kamogawa. They beat a man far above their weight class.

Nekota was outclassing Anderson with his superior speed, skills and technique while dealing with a brain injury. Kamogawa shattered all his ribs with just two punches. He won with sheer power and determination. They did this in a very different world, without being coached or getting their injuries treated. Think about how much they could've accomplished in the modern era of boxing.

Hajime No Ippo teaches us to respect our elders. If they could achieve such great feats back then, there should be nothing stopping us right now.

I reckon that one fellar at number eight should have been higher on that list, considering he beat the shit out of some other tough fellar.

That guy is pretty cool.

We all know who is the strongest already when it comes to anime boxing brute force and wild animal instincts are the ingredients and Takamura has both.

Martinez is by far number 1, he was untouchable. Takamura is always BARELY edging out a victory, while Ricardo Lopez is in boxing terms untouchable. He destroys his opponents in a landslide. Takamura said himself, the belt is never leaving Ricardo's side, it will stay their until he decides to retire. Ricardo is levels beyond every other character.

My top 10 lists : (My opinion)
1.Takamura (obvious)
2.Bryan hawk(made takamura go beyond his limits and woke his true potential)
3.Golden Eagle(takamura rarely shows respect and he did it to golden eagle)
4.Ricardo Martinez(in order to defeat dempsy roll he must step back and then counter he did it without those and with jabs)
5. Kamogawa Genji (Young and wtf his fists break 7 ribs and internal organs)
6. Nekota (his skills are a lot better than kamogawa but wtf is kamogawa's iron fists its just to strong)
7. Ippo(still lot to go through before getting to the world)
8. Vorg( Beats sendo and ippo, vorg win the japan title match but the slip was called a down which made sendo the japan champ.)
9. Sendo (made ippo grow as they fight)
10. Miyata ( cmon jabbing and suddenly disappearing from your sight in split seconds)

I honestly feel like sawamura was the best Japanese featherweight apart from maybe date. he could've knocked ippo out if he weren't sadistic. he consistently beat sendou in sparring and his counter punching ability exceeds miyatas. also volg is better than ippo now considering he's a world champ and even knocked out ippo in sparring.

With the featherweight it’s
1. Ricardo Martinez
2.Date Eiji
3. Ippo
4. Miyata/Sendo (arguable)
5.Vorg
I just finished watching, so this is my take on it

idk about top 10, but top 3 is ricardo, takamura and Vorg in no particular order.
Takamura took down Biran Hawk who was an instinctive genius by beating him at being just that, Rocardo is hyped as an invincible champion and ippo's final goal, and Vorg always was a world class boxer who took out a world champion with every single odds stacked against him. Meaning he took on a world champion at his best while he was at his worst.

Can we get a update? Ippo has progressed and new characters like bison, alfredo, and woli have been added. Plus characters on this have gotten stronger. For example sendou, ippo, miyata etc.
