Bob Crosby & the Bobcats - Night Theme (Dot, 1960). An odd choice for Bob Crosby, whose bands were better known for Dixieland style jazz in the 1940s and '50s. Issued in September 1960, Crosby's "Night Theme" was a cover of a pop-rock instrumental by the Mark II which had made the lower reaches of the national charts several months earlier.
