EP50: Flaming Gorge - Not To Be Missed!
We're celebrating our 50th Just Adrift video! We can hardly believe it - time has been flying. We had so much fun on our trip boating Flaming Gorge, it felt appropriate to share it for this video milestone. We got the great idea to rent an airboat to explore the Gorge from a waiter we had along the way...what a great suggestion! We brought our grill, a cooler full of drinks and snacks and made a day of exploring the gorge. The colors are fantastic, vivid sunset shades reflect from the canyon walls to the water and you see so many beautiful rock formations. The day was full of swimming, rope swings, grilling and dancing. It truly is a boater's paradise.
The gorge has multiple marinas in both Wyoming and Utah. We were coming from northern Idaho so it made sense for us to stay in the town of Green River, Wyoming and drive to the Lucerne Marina where they rent boats. You just have to get there early! Whatever you do, don't miss Flaming Gorge!
