“You give all your pain to me. I can handle it”
Always breaks me. 😭

The way it starts, with Georgia almost being angry “Show me!”, “I dont understand!” is so realistic to a parent’s reaction. Also the way it continues and how she softens after she sees Ginny is so to the point.

This scene was incredibly moving and heartbreaking, and well acted by Antonia and Brianne. Georgia may be incredibly flawed, but she would jump over fire for her children.

Im glad they did a scene like this. Really shows the reality of living with mental health issues in the most accurate way without being so graphic. Both of these talented actresses deserve an award for this.

Self harm is incredibly disturbing, as a parent I cant imagine how it feels to see that on your child

i appreciate how they don’t show the actual burns. it can be triggering for people that self harm themselves.

Georgia Miller has a dozen of flaws but she is the fiercest mother and would literally make her life hell if that is what is needed to give her kids peace.

I was literally crying. Their acting was insane in my opinion. Hope we will have S3

This scene was such a tearjerker, but Antonia and Brianne acted their hearts out for it. What a heartbreaking scene! I'm hoping you renew this show for an S3 Netflix; it deserves one.

I believe this scene perfectly encapsulates Georgia as a character. She has gone through about as many horrible and painful things as one could imagine, yet in this one scene you can see that she’s experiencing the most pain she’s ever felt. She has always done everything in her power to protect her babies, and knowing that one of them has been hurting herself for years and being oblivious to it? Heart breaking! I applaud Brianne and Anotonia for the Emmy award winning acting here.

“You give me all that pain, I can handle it”
❤ parents, this is how you talk to your kids.

As a mum to a 14 year old daughter, this scene left me a sobbing wreck. “You give all your pain to me, I can handle it” is what did it, because all parents would absolutely take every ounce of pain from their children and take it into themselves if they could. When your children are in pain, you are in pain… The performances from Brianne and Antonia were incredible the whole season, but this scene in particular was beyond ❤

Though Georgia invaded Ginny’s privacy by reading her diary, im glad she did because she was finally ready to listen and pay attention to the pain Ginny had been going through

This scene reminded me of when Ginny’s therapist asked if she felt like Georgia was a safe space and she said no bc she would get revenge on other kids for messing with her instead of being emotionally supportive.

Ginny finally gets that support from her mom and feels safe enough to cry in her mom’s arms and really let it out. This is also a monster Georgia can’t get revenge on or “teach a lesson” to.

This scene made me cry like a baby, but I also felt happy for Ginny

I watched this with my mother. We both ended up sobbing because we’ve had this exact conversation. It was so real.

I SOBBED during this scene. It was so powerful and almost kind of a wish fulfillment. I think it was really great to represent a scene like this of a parent who really does care and want to be there, even if they haven't known how.
