WOW, NOW I KNOW WHY MY AT MAX WASN'T PUTTING OUT THE AUDIO AFTER I WENT FROM A GARRETT 4.5" COIL TO A 8.5"X 11" COIL, I DIDN'T KNOW THAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO RESET THE DETECTOR, EACH TIME I CHANGE THE COIL, NOW I KNOW.THANKYOU NORTHWEST DETECTORS FOR SENDING ME THE IMFOMATION AND IT'S A SIMPLE PROCESS TO RESET THE AT MAX.

Thankyou for this video. My target area indication had changed a lot after using the Nel Sharp coil. Spent a whole evening not finding much at all.

My problem is that the power switch seems to be stuck in the on position, as it comes on as soon as the battery pack is connected, and won't shut off with the power switch. Further, holding in the power switch will not reset the detector.

I purchased the AT Pro and ordered the Garrett 5x8. Should I reset the detector? I never hooked up the standrd coil and used the smaller coil. The reason I am asking is if the detector is factory set with the standard coil. Thanks and great video!

Recalibrates the coil? How does it do that? Can the AT Pro tell the difference in coil configuration? Maybe it can tell the difference between a Garrett coil and the aftermarket coils? Please help me understand this. I own all the Garrett coils for the AT Pro along with a couple of Nel coils. Why don't you ask Rusty these questions when you see him the next time. Many of us AT Pro users would appreciate it.

I got a question. I've got an At Gold. It's got about 25 hours of use. Today I noticed there's like a rainbow color across the screen. It worked long enough for me to dig one aluminum tab and then it just quit detecting. Everything else works on the adjustments I can hear it beeping etc. The only thing it will detect is my pin pointer when my pin pointer is on. If I shut it off it will not detect my pin pointer

I wish that was my problem! Brand new ace 250 outta the box, and I got a faulty coil... I thought Garrett was the leader at this game, and they would at least bench test their products before shipping them off. $225 going in my trash can come garbage day!

Hey can you help reprogram a EuroAce 350, mines out of warranty with a shattered screen. Also note that I am a computer technician and know a thing or two about programming, however anything you know will help; like schematics for internal components.

I've been having an issue with my Ace 250 when I shake it'd chatter like crazy, I've tried resetting it but it'd continue with the same problem. What else could I do.

Tried this but it did not fix my out of control ace 250, as any more than one notch on sensitivity it goes haywire :-(
