MAKING SOUL MUSIC LIKE TOM MISCH/CHET FAKER... in 1 hour! | MUSIC POWER HOUR #2

I'M MAKING SOUL MUSIC TODAY! Today, I show you how to make a soul track - in one hour! I LOVE soul and blues and funk, so when I have creative freedom, I subconsciously figure out how to make music like Tom Misch (imitation is the sincerest form of flattery). Organs are the heart of this sound, so I also gravitate towards making organ music. Had a lot of fun playing around with vocal riffs and runs on this track. What's great about it is if you're stuck writing lyrics, you can forget the words themselves and just play with melodies. It turns into the most bluesy music because I can just jam around without getting writer's block. Ended up with a solid snippet and I can't wait to see what comes next.
