I am on here out of curiosity as I have never heard of Tom Misch.

OMG I'm gonna so love this course! Love the sound of Jazz chords and soulful funky style playing! Still new to Tom Misch as I was with Cory Wong but will be exploring more of their music as I go through the courses for sure! Players like Nile Rogers, Al McKay, Prince and Jimmy Nolen are some of the rhythm players i'm more familiar but I'm always excited to learn about newer modern day players so thanks Dion!

PS Just noticed on the website Unit 1: Lesson 1 the second chord chart is shown as a m9 (cm shape) but as per the lesson with the added note on the high E string wouldn't that make it a minor 11th?

Can you always sub in a minor 7 or minor 9 for a minor chord? Is there a general rule to follow for substitutions?
