I met Anthony twice in 2012 -- first at Watkins Glen and next at Laguna Seca -- and he was such a warm and friendly guy. At the time, he owned three original 427 Cobras. He bought the red 427 street Cobra a few years later.

There’s an original 64 Cobra and 65 Vet sitting in a garage for the last 30+ years in Harman Woods Maryland. Before the owner passed away when I was around 14 years old, he would take them out every now and then and drive them around our neighborhood.

Great interview, what a nice guy the owner is

There is a family in L.A. that has several of these and they DRIVE them and RACE them still... they were showcased on a T.V. show.

I believe that Gold 427 Cobra lived in Westchester NY in the 60s. There was a bar next to the Rexall Drugs store in Yorktown Heights where that car would be parked occasionally.

There is a channel called the barn Find Hunter. He went to a barn where there was a 1967 427 red Shelby Cobra in excellent condition that was owned by one owner and kept in a barn for decades. It has original paint no rust it went to an auction sold $950, 000 so it’s hard to believe that this one is worth $3 million.

Pretty sure it would command more than $3M if it were to be fully restored..most people would think it’s a bucket of bolts in that condition. His other two he showed looked in nice shape I would opt to get the gold one restored if it was me.

Id be "that guy" who dailied this as Im retired now. Just insure it properly and enjoy life!
THose who buy into that paranoia "What if a train Tbones be backing out of the driveway"...F that! I Love the way this one looks, talk about character, and stories it could tell. Love it.

Iz the front bumper correct on the 350? I thought they wouldn't be in place?

I would take 3 million and buy a replica for $60, 000.

The red one on this video is what I’m talking about the 1967 427 Shelby cobra. Maybe this guy here bought it

Why is the most important thing the value of the cars? A good video and the owner seems like a really nice guy, I would like to have known the what the performance difference was like between the two Cobras.

Reading the comments below, as member of the Mustang owners club of California, I would not look at this car as a bucket of bolts in its original condition

They were ONLY 9 1966 Shelby GT350s That had Paxton Superchargers They were GT 350 S Models
NO 1965 GT350s were supercharged unless someone installed it aftermarket . But over the decades since then Who knows
how much modifications were done to these Very rare Automobiles . I was Lucky enough, back in the Day to OWN several of these cars, Including a 427 Cobras My best friends Dad, worked at Shelby American in 1964 thru 1969
Been There ! Done That !! Cheers

This car should be restored and raced, be maintained, parts replaced as needed because that is what it was meant to do. Not sit in someones garage while it rots away. SMH.

What about all the amateur bondo work all over the body of the car.

Can't understand why the original Gold color wasn't left undisturbed and covered in Blue?

Anthony and I have been in several Cobra shows together, and we have spoken many times at Bob's Big Boy. Everyone has nothing but nice things to say about him, and this is reflected in the comments below!
