Try making the sauce with shock top beer
Make a beer batter using the shock top
Then use the beer in the sauce
1/2 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 cup orange juice
1/3 cup beer
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup rice wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar
Cornstarch slurry
Chopped ginger & garlic and chopped Chile de Arbol
That should make enough sauce for like 6-10ppl

At Panda we use Orange extract, but should not make a difference. Only difference I noticed is that we add sesame oil at the end.
