It was lovely to see you getting Gina’s car warmed up for her. I like the way you take care of your family. Your channel is one of my favorites.

Al, you are getting pretty handy with that excavator! I didn't realize how much those baby trees were interfering with the view. Great story about how you rescued that foreclosed property. Glad to see it didn't go abandoned and forgotten.

Your Mum was so insightful in showing her children an amazing skill like cooking. An extremely useful skill to have and wouldn’t it be wonderful if more parents took the time nowadays to do the same.

Cooking is an art. Being able to cook and feed yourself and your family--and to be able to control what you put into your body--is the ultimate form of self-sufficiency.

I did like Andy's hairdo this morning. LOL. It's nice to look back and see the progress that you have made on your farm. I've been following you for a year now and I can see the improvements you have made. Have a good day buddy.

A home is a work of Heart - not Art. We all tend to focus on what we didn’t do, but the value in how far we’ve travelled is the best motivator I know of. Keep up the amazing work - I’m a bit jealous of your excavator 😁😝👍🏻

I love watching you with the excavator. The rock wall and your driveway look great. I get a big kick out of Moose but Andy will always be my favorite rooster. I love how kind you are to your family and supper looks fantastic! You were “raised right” for sure!

Back for my daily homestead dose. I’m to old and broken down to start a homestead now so I live my homestead life through you. Please keep it coming.

Great work Al !!
Next time try lopping/cutting the trees at waist height/3 ft and dropping them in a row makes it faster to pickup and move or mulch. Then go back and remove the It will save you a lot of time on the machine and give a cleaner job.

Good morning Al. I did not know you and Gina had bought this property with a burned down house on it. I just posted a messaged to A Canadian in Europe about a farmstead in NB we bought in 1974. It had a huge 3-story hay barn, outbuildings, well, fields, but the house had burned down! It was for sale by Chip & Lindy Climo. They had converted the attached, sloping barn shed into a cute cabin. Are you ready. We bought it for $4, 800.00 American! But the government had closed the border and the snow was unbelievable! We sold and "rebuilt" a camp in New Hampshire into a 5 acre homestead in 1976. I was 26 :-). And we are still living the good life in NH! You & Gina choose an awesome lifestyle!!

I baked chocolate chip zucchini bread the other night and will be cooking a chicken and making broth today. What a blessing your family is to watch. God bless and keep you all.
