Thank you for this - you encouraged me to actually go out in the snow today and run for the first time in a VERY long time! It was hard but so worth it. The roads were dry and bare and it wasn't too windy out. I never would have thought I could run outdoors in that weather but it was actually totally fine. Thank you for the encouragement 🙌

Thanks for breaking down each type of gear by temperature range! That's exactly what I've been looking for.

Thanks so much! I’m just taking up running and have enjoyed the nice weather of late. In Colorado too, btw. Last couple of days… lots of sunshine and chilly wind. Despite best intentions and plenty of determination, I’ve found myself returning to home after a chilly block or two wondering how on Earth I’ll equip myself for our variable weather. While I’m quite comfortable in the mountains at any temperature and in any season…. Whole new gig and your insights and experience are of tremendous assistance. THANKS!!!

so far, I've "been just doing it" -- running outdoors here in upstate New York -- BRRRR - so far just 20 and 30 F have been the coldest days in November-- wind is the worst - got some ski goggles and tried them yesterday - fogged up on my 4th and last mile of my run -- if I can correct that ((some shield or plug the bottom vents, so my breathing doesn't come up into my goggles - LOL ) -- they really keep my eyes from getting watery from the wind --- THANK YOU for this vid --- I'm working on getting the right winter equipment !!!

Very helpful, thank you. I'm skipping the treadmill and heading outside today. Thanks for the inspiration.

Just bought the thermal leggings. Thank you for this great video! I've been looking for a good (and cheap) pair for a while.

I wear Rx glasses but have to go outside in contacts b/c our new hometown gets 10 degrees with snow (moved from the desert 🌵 🏜 🐪 of all things). Wearing my regular glasses out is like wearing an ice pack across my nose & sinus cavity. I’ve been thinking of wearing ski goggles out there for extra insulation.

Hi Jane! Im from Canada and currently training for a marathon as well! I was wondering what was the model of the outdoor research winter jacket you are wearing for below 20 degrees F weather? I run sometimes in -20C temperatures so I am very picky in terms of choice of a good winter jacket that keeps mw warm added to being windproof and breathable. Thank you!
