double chocolate banana bread! it’s gluten free, dairy free, and refined sugar free, and perfect for Valentine’s Day🍫

ingredients:
•2 cups oat flour (i use homemade)
•1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
•2 tsp baking powder
•1 tsp baking soda
•1/2 tsp salt
•3 ripe bananas
•1/2 cup olive or avocado oil
•3 eggs (flax eggs or regular eggs)
•1 tsp pure vanilla extract
•1/2 cup honey or pure maple syrup
•1/2 cup chocolate chips (i use dairy free and refined sugar free)

instructions:
1. preheat the oven to 350°F and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
2. while the oven preheats, add 3 ripe bananas to a large bowl and mash with a fork until smooth. next add in the remaining wet ingredients and mix until well combined.
3. add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients one at a time then mix everything together until the batter is smooth.
4. pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake in the oven until a toothpick/butter knife inserted in the center comes out mostly clean
5. if you use an 8x5 loaf pan, bake for about an hour and 15 minutes. if you use a 9x5 loaf pan, bake for closer to an hour.
6. once baked, let the banana bread cool completely before removing it from the pan. then slice and serve!
