So today I went to explore Hellas' cuisine in a Taverna setup.

Taverna is usually referred as a small Greek restaurant or cafe.

Taverna Greek Kitchen is located at Souk Madinat Jumeirah sharing a waterfront promenade with many other eateries around.

Well Taverna Greek offers authentic and literary divine food.

I started my meal with a starter of Tirokafteri and pita bread. Tiro is a blend of Greek Feta Cheese and  red chilies served with pita bread or can be enjoyed just as Tiro. The taste of feta with red chillies is some very Pakistani taste base and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Then I ordered a drink Chios (a Greek Island) comes as a very watery-nectar sort mixture of fresh Figs, Lime, Mint and Mastiha. Well that's totally ones taste buds level of compatibility with Mocktails, for me it is a yes every time.

Moving to the appetiser which was Woodfired Grilled Octopus.
If you are a sea food fan I would definitely recommend this as exploring a new horizon of marine based mouthwatering food.
Anyways the Octopus was way friendly 😆 and gooey to taste buds as it comes with mashed Potatoes sides and Yoghurt and Beans based sauce with added thyme just for a refreshing touch.
The grilled parts of Octopus tails sucker-cup was way crunchy with flaming wood aroma as it is cooked on woodfire. A complete appetiser in a longtime I came across to.

Now Syros. The term Syros is coming from one of the Greek Island around Aegean Sea. It encompasses all time add on Rose extracts with Fresh Grape Fruit juice and pulp and Pistachio and Lavender and I am in deep affection with this pink lady served in Greek culture inspired glass. An all time go to drink for me.

Main course; So I tried Mussaka a traditional greek cuisine made of Beef, Eggplants, Creamy Bechamel Sauce and a variety of Greek spices with added Tomatoes and Cucumbers. It is a lot similar to Lasagna, you may easily say it is a Greek version Lasagna. Served very hot in pot dish. The taste? Well for those who are good at Brinjal then it is a go-go.
The best thing about Mussaka is the warm experience of bechamel along with Eggplants and Ground Beef.

Taverna for food and ambiance is a 9 out 10.
