Love all the cross stitch wips finishes and the fabulous quilts!!! You would be surprised what happens at the bridal register. When my stepdaughter went for her bridal dress her mother went with us, I raised her and stood in the background so her mom could be “mom” . My daughter took all her stuff to the register, rung stuff up and when the cashier looked for who was paying my stepdaughter turned around to find her mother gone! I had no idea where she went so I covered for her and said she went out for a cigarette and said “I got this”. She was so embarrassed. Her mom had told her she was buying her dress for her; she was heartbroken so I could see why that question was asked. I love all the Lori holt cross stitch patterns, the blue flower is coming out with some new ones and I am over the moon!!! One of my favorite designers. Stitchonomy . Those stinkin’ kitties chasing the bird up the pole….🤦‍♀️ I just can’t!!!! So cute ☺️ Thinking about your mom! So glad to see her back on here with you. I understand her recent recovery. I had an accident this past Feb. where I broke BOTH my ankles. Surgery, 17 screws, 2 plates, total non weight bearing on both feet for 10 weeks. Tons of PT…….and just 3 weeks ago I had yet another surgery on my other foot to repair two tendon tears. Now non-weight bearing on that foot for another 3 weeks. Needless to say, I have been a stitching fool since February. Finding you has been a bright spot to help pass the time that I just sit…….Thank the Lord that I am very happy staying home ☺️.
