My girlfriend asked me what I was watching. When I told her a video about Napoleon's sister the first thing she asked me was, " Was she a ho?" I have no words.

If you for the streets even royal status can’t stop you.

I love how a woman being promiscuous & easy is considered "ahead of her time" as if all women were pious & saintly in the past.

I viewed the statue at Galleria Borghese. The detail on the fabric and lace was astonishing. I had no idea that stone could be so lifelike and finely detailed.

It's good to see your face along side your videos after all these years, especially so regularly, Mr. Nutty History guy.

I never knew he even had siblings. 🤯
I learned something new today.
As for the sponsored ad, you did a clever and great job incorporating it to your video, I wasn’t able to skip it like I normally do with other YouTubers. That was very nicely and seamlessly transitioned.
Thanks for sharing and putting this lovely video together. I really enjoyed this. ❤❤❤

Pauline is the main reason Napoleon outcast General Dumas. His sister could not get enough of General Dumas. If given more opportunity Dumas would have proven to be one of Nepoleon's best generals.

When Pauline died at age 44, she wanted a closed coffin, instead displaying her Venus statue as she wanted to be remembered that way.

Great video, but I have to correct that you said Josephine Bonaparte was Napoleons second wife. She was his first wife.
He had an affair, widely referred to in the arts and regarding Napoleons young years, with Desiree Clary. He even wrote a novel about it. Haha.
Napoleon, wanting an heir for his world domination throne, did however divorce Josphine because she was unable to give him said heir. He then married a Hapsburg, Maria Louise of Parma, a much younger but far less compatible woman. She did pretty quickly give him an heir. Yes indeedy, Napoleon II, King of Rome 👑.

I love how she's the type of woman who chose to be vainglorious every time she woke up. Is funny to learn about such a wild personality, but not so much knowing or being related to one such gal

Those pictures of hydrogen filled balloons had me wondering, but those two headed dogs really had me questioning your credibility.

I can't imagine how my mate will react when he realise that there is a whole channel which combines history and nutty past

How little things change with us humans. Marry for wealth, sleep with passion, take what you can, and become famous. Glad I found this channel, it tickles my day. Have a good one.

In Rome she had a levee-like ritual where the men she liked got to watch her maids washing and powdering her feet. (Oh, you tease!)
She said "Canova is not a real man." (Does that mean that he was gay, or just that he resisted her advances?)

Fabulous work! I’d love for you to cover the life and exploits of the beautiful and powerful Eleanor of Aquitaine, please.
