To clear things up this wasn't my first plane spotting experience as I have been spotting for about 10 years, but it's the first time I had filmed an aircraft.
This aircraft arrived for testing and for Air New Zealand to check out it's future (now current) aircraft. It arrived from Seattle's Paine Field (aka, the Boeing Factory) and had a one night stopover before heading to Melbourne the next day.
This is the very first Dreamliner ever built but today it is currently stored at the Boeing Factory.
