Dear Half Moon Run, *if you ever see this!* “Dark Eyes” album was the soundtrack to my life when I was falling so slowly but so quickly in to opiate/heroin addiction. I became homeless while attending college as a full blown junkie. I remember it playing in my car when I was car jacked, robbed and held and assaulted for days. I’m very lucky I survived that, he did not intend for me to, it was just dumb luck. The scars on my face, throat and back will forever remind me of that! I found this video today, it popped up as an ad and I was SO happy! Its been 6 years to the DAY today that I’ve been clean, finished two college diplomas and opened my own business that even survived the pandemic! Thank you for your music. It helped me get through my darkest days. As horrible as they were, I feel those experiences shaped me into the person I am today and your music reminds me of that. Whenever I feel like I’m failing or drowning, I put on “Full Circle” or “No More Losing the War” & it reminds me how far I’ve come. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you 🙏 ❤️🇨🇦 I’m going to purchase this album right now!

Been a huge fan of radiohead for a long time. These guys have quickly become my new favorite band right from the first time I heard call me in the afternoon and I always get great radiohead vibes from their tunes. Except HMR seems to mostly favour great acoustic melodies as complements to awesome electronic, piano and string compositions. These guys are something special. So much great music in the last couple years all essentially free. Can't wit for my pre-order of the new record and to see another great live show on Vancouver Island post pandemic. You guys fuckin rock!
