A couple years ago I wrote a letter to Half Moon Run's tour manager explaining that their show in Toronto was also the anniversary of me and a then girlfriends relationship. The concert was sold out, but tour manager Franz came through and left tickets at will-call. Best band I've ever seen live. I would see them every day.

I watched this 10 years ago over and over and over. I was a teenager then, and just totally obsessed with the musicality of this song. A decade later I finally remembered the name of the band and looked it up on YouTube. Still fucking slaps and I still know the words. Can't believe it's been a decade and still goes so hard.

Even now, 4 years after I first heard it, I will still sometimes wake up with this song stuck in my head. It's quite unique - I've not heard anything quite like it before or since.

Just saw Half Moon Run in Squamish BC Canada this past weekend. Very impressed with these fellows. They can all sing, perfect harmony. And the one guy was playing keyboard, drums, and harmonica, and sings. Personable, good stage presence, great music, and very talented. Surprised they are not famous yet. At the end of their show we called them back for an encore, and they used one mic and sang a Neil Young song so perfectly, great way to end the show. Keep up the good work Boys ! A new fan from Squamish.
