Do you know why  Italy banned ChatGPT?  The Italian Data Protection Authority

Here are some of the concerns the authority had. First privacy. These models can collect and store a lot of personal data about users, which could be used to track them or target them with advertising.

I mean,  you all remember the Cambridge Analytica scandal, right?

Number two, misinformation. These models can be cleverly used to generate text that is false or misleading, which could be used to spread misinformation or manipulate people.

Number three, BIAS. Models like these can be biased.

Which means that they can generate text that reflects the biases of the data that they have been trained on, leading to the spread of harmful stereotypes or discrimination.
