How Richard Bandler Uses Nested Loops

In this video, I analyze the first five minutes of a youtube video I found of Richard Bandler teaching time distortion. Within the first five minutes of the video, Dr. Bandler opens five different loops.

In this video, I pause after each story and discuss what Dr. Bandler may be doing with his nested communication. I suggest that you watch the full video so that you can experience how seemlessly Dr. Bandler weaves these stories together to produce a hypnotic effect.

Richard Bandler: the art of communicating wisdom masterfully while appearing to say nothing. In the end he teaches everything.

The important thing about nested loops is that you close the loops on the way out/up. You didn't mention that at all. They're stories embedded within stories that chunk down in detail and then back up again closing those loops in the reverse order to which they're opened.

The layering of information and linking each level allows greater assimilation of information.

Nested loops are typical language patterns used by effective salesmen and people who are in the business of influencing people’s ideas. It’s all about convincing and overcoming objections prior to requesting people to believe or change their mind about something. All the special descriptors like anchors and time distortion are good for modeling these skills but I think you’d be surprised how many people use these techniques without the training or language, You should go to a good storytelling festival.

The key to live a better life is structure our own thoughts that way in most time.
I remember I use to have a lot of dreams (or I was able to remember them better) when I use to watch movies or TV series. (I know Hollywood movies or TV series has basic the samd structure of some books on Bible, that share the same mechanism of Nested Loops or Ring Composition)
Then after learning something about Nested Loops and writing my own hypnotic stories I am getting more dreams than before.
I dont know if this help with nervous system, with breaking some "virus thought structure" that prevents people to full relax when sleeping time.
It's really helpful to learn about this kind of thoughts structure. We are taught just to think linear manner and it lacks so many things in the (uncounscious), process.

There's no higher comedy than watching people try to explain Bandler's work. (I do it myself and laugh at me, too!) Yeah, there's a simple structure behind nested Los that anyone can learn and describe thanks to Bandler. But to think you know how he does it or even think you know half of what he's doing is an admission that you don't get how it works at all! That is how and why it works. It's what you're not aware of that's doing the most.

What other hypnotic phenomena can be taught using nested loops?

How can nested loops be used in other contexts, such as sales or presentations?

What are the ethical considerations of using nested loops?

Here are the learnings from this video:

Nested loops are a hypnotic technique where a communicator tells a story within a story.

Richard Bandler uses nested loops to covertly teach hypnotic phenomena.

In the video, Richard Bandler uses nested loops to teach time distortion.

He sets up an anchor by having the audience create an image of a car.

He then tells a story about driving fast and then slow to create a contrast in state.

One of the first things he does is take you "on the road' with him (in 1977!), through the TV, and then split (dissociate) you so you're half on earth and half up in a space ship, getting sucked inexorably into a black hole...

What’s the purpose of a nested loop? I thought it was just to capture attention with a story and then fill that attention with whatever your next strategic message is.

Trump does this a lot. To the untrained eye it seems like he’s out of control.
