As of this moment, 28 people have neither the charisma nor the leadership skills to take the amazing lessons of Mr. Carayol's speech to heart. I personally thank him, I am a activist being pushed into a leadership role in order to create positive and lasting social change that will help put a dent in the poverty, depression, and ghettofication of my area. I also thank TEDx for these fantastic videos, which I am not ashamed to admit are being used by me for training.

I may not be able to go to your conferences, but I am learning from your leadership and ingenuity. You guys are amazing and I thank you for bringing such wonderful powerhouses of society together. I thank you too for helping me to build a better and more effective me.

In the third story, Rene Carayol speaks about Rudy Giuliani attending a speech by Martin Luther King as a child. According to Wikipedia, Rudy Giuliani was born on May 28, 1944 and Martin Luther King's 'I have a dream' speech was given on August 28, 1963, at which point Rudy Giuliani would have been 19.

Giuliani must have been telling the story of someone else. He was on his 20s not 6 or 7 in the sixties. Never the less, great story

It's ironic that he talks about effective communication with a voice register that showcases harsh extremes in its volume. He speaks supersoftly at 9:45, and shouts "THIRD STORY" a second later like an agitated football coach. Made me jump through the roof, as I was carefully listening to his low register murmuring the moment before. The message had quite a few high value notions, but the delivery is something he could improve on via omitting the dramatic antics that crave nothing, but effect.

General all around demeanor suggesting he's more used to giving locker room talk-downs to the lads during half time more than anything, but suitably adjusted for the venue I must say. Profile suggest he's just come up in the world lately, so still needs some getting used 2 maybe. Still a slight chip on shoulder 4 all d times he was mistaken as doorman I suppose. He'll be expecting a pay-rise 2 go with all that bulk I'm guessing.
