Please rub the seal of the new filter with the Old oil, this will much better prevent sticking of the rubber seal.

Remove sump plug and drain oil...then do the oil filter...surely

Sorry mate sump plug first then filter, also car needs to be on a level surface when draining oil out, also helpful to add some new oil in the filter before screwing in, poor diy mechanical basic skills
