I made all few mistakes with texting AFTER the first date. Had a girl over at my place for a drink, was a great convo but way too platonic. didn’t make a move, didn’t build tension or spike emotions enough. She pulled back and got quiet for 2 days after. Then texted twice after and she rejected. I felt so embarrassed but we all make these mistakes and this is the point of game is to laugh it off, learn from your mistakes, to improve and get laid, and to enjoy the process.

Todd, you are right! Texting is NOT the best form of communication. However, nowadays we live in a world where texting has become the norm. Women, however, want to get a phone call from a man because it shows he is not scared to call her and doesn't want to 'hide' behind texts. Most all women, regardless of their age, still are little girls at heart. If you had a young daughter, would she feel better if you texted her, or if you actually called her and she heard your voice, asking how you are doing, and so on? I would say the latter is better.

From my experience texting is:
- to set up a face-to-face date
- to remind her why she liked you, that you are cool.
Texting is for info and setting up dates, not for conversations(at the initial stages, and also sometimes at later ones)

She can be in any scenario and state while receiving, reading or responding to your text.
She can even be receiving it in a bad mood, leave it, then read it in a chill mood and find it cool, maybe respond, and then, on a second rounds of texting, if you use it properly, she might be fully engaged horny and ready...

But you CANNOT know this, there fore you use Texting for those things - to remind her you are cool, that's why she gave you the number, to set the date and to do it in the shortest amount of text possible, not as a goal, but as a practical tool. Not sidetracking into chit-chat. You will talk on the date. Plus, tone, intonation, vocal inflections, facial expressions, body language... that's like 85% of your communication and power, so if you try using texting as a tool beyond it's purpose, in the context of someone knew... then you can fuck up in 85%+ of the times, even if you doing everything great - her real context when reading/responding, remember!

Yeah, you can have long and deep conversations and end up with a date, but why do that if you can do it in person and make sure that these 85% will be in your favor, minimum in your control and sight - being able to gauge her reactions and adapt.

Use text as a tool and creating a bridge between you and her to set up a date.

That's just a principle and as such you can use it however you like, but understanding it will allow you to use it optimally and efficiently.
