Absolutely love John Davis! I’m a 15 year old automotive enthusiast and certainly he’s my favorite for MW

Anyone with gripes about this car that hasn't driven it, should. I test drove one total and was very impressed. My current ride is a CX5 touring awd and after the test drive I'm eager to trade. I've gone through a bunch of new cars and this one had me more excited than the rest. Maybe the only other car I was as excited to buy was the Lancer Evo when it first came to the US.

These things are selling very well, as expected. Without the turbo though I'll hold on to my 2018 XT for a while. 0-60 in 6.2 vs. 0-60 in 8.6 feels so, so noticeable from the driver's seat.

The past 96% buyers didn’t really care for turbo.

Subaru is still building the best AWD out there. They have the best vehicle out on the market in everything you want dependability, reliability, safety, resale value, and etc etc etc.

Man... I remember back before Toyota had a major stake in Subaru and they weren't so big and stylized. A Forester used to be a smaller car/wagon that could drive through anything. Now they're just a regular midsized SUV.

How is 182hp 12hp more then the older 175hp? Yes the older 2.5 boxer made 175hp and the new one makes 182hp which is a difference of yeah what the heck motorweek? love you John davis!!! I've been watching you since 1992!!!

Any hp/torque gains have been offset by weight increases!? The issue of looking "elsewhere to straight ahead" (referring to EyeSight) would be more counterproductive and invasive than helpful for me.

My hubby wants one of these. Now to see if it has AWD the top thing he wants.

I've always liked Forester, but if it keeps getting bigger every refresh, maybe not so much. And Subie has gooped on the chrome and cladding like GM. Restraint, please. That said, 30MPG for something with 76 CF of usable cargo space is impressive.

Why do they do they simulate gear shifts on a CVT!?!?

Essentially the same vehicle as an Outback, same base-engine, same wheelbase, etc; just with a taller greenhouse, slightly heavier, and somewhat different styling. Yet..you can still get a turbo in an Outback, but not in a Forester; which would actually benefit more from it, due to the increased weight, and slightly greater wind-resistance; due to the increased vehicle height. But yet..it's not optional. Simply, BAFFLING.

Meh I'll stick to my '14 XT... That thing can't really mess with an FA20 engined Forester

Which part of the US was this filmed in? It's lovely.

All those kids saying the Forester is slow. Its an adventure vehicle not a sports car. Get that inside your heads for fuck sake.

They'll eventually bring the Turbo back. I hope.

Subaru just keeps killing and killing the old enjoyment of what they use to have.

The boring plain Jane Touring costs more than our XT did and for what?
