That ginger scallion sauce is SOOO good! I fry the ingredients quickly in a fair bit of oil and then either scoop out the solid bits or just the now flavoured oil depending on how I want to use it. It freezes really well too! If find the scallions and ginger at a good price I make a big batch and freeze it - takes a bit of time for the prep with only one clean up which is a plus but it's so handy to add flavour to soups and stirfrys. This dish looks so delicious - you've never disappointed me with your recipes - THANKS FLO and cheers from Oz!!

I've made this dish twice already. The first time with shredded BBQ Duck (end of day discount) and then with Spam! It's so satisfying. It's affordable and adaptable (few ingredients always on hand). The ginger scallion is a bonus "how-to" as well. It does go well with almost anything. Thanks!

yum. I’m going to try your ginger scallion condiment. Rotisserie chicken is a good cheat, especially when the family is sick. I can see dumping the ginger, scallion condiment into a chicken soup with garlic, celery and carrots and still have enough chicken for a couple of meals.
