It's not a secret. They talk about it in their mailers to members. Everyone knows Kirkland is their "store" brand.

Costco so far doesn't have any revealed dirty secrets. They treat workers, customers, and business partners fairly. Even this shows they can make good money without ripping off anyone involved.

It's priced right and good quality, no secret. Just legitimate, good business. I know that's weird in America, but it could all be like that.

For clarity, that $58 bullion is revenue. It's east to forget that revenue isn't profit and that number is present without the costs of manufacturing the product.

Costco still makes the majority of their profit via membership.
