Trouble: My Persian cat is only 7 months young boy in great health. About 3 weeks ago he started having loose stool. Not sure exactly why, though we did see that he passed some carpet fibers in stool; he would have stool sticking on this long white fur, so we had to wash him at least once a day in the morning. His Fecal Score was about 6 to 7 (really bad), where 1 to 2 is normal and 7 is worst case runny stool.

Solution: Then I saw videos like this and gave him canned Pumpkin puree (just pumpkin with water) bought from PetSmart. He did eat the pumpkin puree by itself but liked it a lot more when mixed with wet cat food. For good measure, I also gave him Probiotics (good bacteria) in form of cat treats which our cat pounced on. The PetSmart store employee recommended Probiotics in addition to the Pumpkin puree, and most people know the benefits of Probiotics for the GI tract.

Results: After only 2 days of this remedy, his stool magically turned normal!!! So, he went from a score of 6 or 7 to a 2 or 3 in just two days. In one or 2 more days, I expect he will be back to full normal at 1 to 2 fecal score.

Bottomline: Pumpkin (and Probiotics) worked fast wonders for our cat, and so you may want to try it for your cat as well.

Thank you so much for helping my 6 month old British Longhair boy. He's had soft stool ever since we got him. 1st it was due to Giardia which was resolved. Then a bee stung and benedyrl, next being neutered and pain medication. His Vet gave him tylesole, Fortiflora probiotics and lastly gastrointestinal food for kittens, all which have still given him soft stool. After trying the pumpkin purée for 2 days, which he loves, his stool has improved from category 6-7 to category 3-4. I noticed he drinks an excessive amount of water and I kept telling my Vet this, but I guess they just weren't listening. Thank you so much for helping us 🙏 His anal glands aren't popping out, aren't irritated and his anus just looks very healthy in general. Finally he's no longer stressed out and hiding under our bed after having an accident outside his box.

I pour Tiki stix treat over the pumpkin puree for my kitten, he thinks he's just having a delicious treat and lick the plate clean. Their tuna flavor then to be more fragrant so it's good for masking the pumpkin smell if your cat is sensitive to it :)

All natural is a real pumpkin. Not the canned
